We are a Freemasons’ Lodge based in the vibrant university city of Leicester. Our lodge is thoughtfully tailored to cater to the needs of Leicester University’s students, faculty, and alumni but humbly welcomes others from all walks of life.

Our illustrious lodge owes its name to William Wyggeston, a prominent figure in Leicester’s history, who left an indelible mark including the Wyggeston Grammar School and Wyggeston’s Hospital. His statue appears on the famous Leicester Clock Tower.
Inspired by the wisdom of William, our lodge has embraced his powerful motto, “Date eleemosynam et ecce omnia munda sunt vobis” – an invitation to give yourself freely and without expectation of anything in return. By doing so, you will unlock a world of possibilities for yourself and others.
