University of Leicester students continue to join the Freemasons
Another three University of Leicester students, Simon Walmsley, Adam Tilley and James Kelly, joined the Wyggeston Lodge at our meeting on Friday 20th February at Freemasons’ Hall, Leicester in a wonderful triple ceremony. University of Leicester receives £65,000 from the Freemasons for heart research
A University of Leicester research project has received vital further funding of £33,000 from two Masonic charities. In the past 2 years, the Masonic Samaritan Fund and Freemasons’ Grand Charity have donated a combined sum of £65,000 to the DREAM (Daily Remote Ischaemic Conditioning Post-Acute Myocardial Infarction) research study, a randomised controlled trial currently being run in patients’ homes across Leicestershire.
